Our Booking PolicyAs I only run very small monthly classes, please be aware that your booking is non-refundable. However, you are very welcome to gift your booked date/s to a friend or family member if your cancellation is unavoidable.

Beginners' Lino Printing Class 5hrs over 2 consecutive Friday mornings

Beginners' Lino Printing Class - Christmas/Winter themed - 7th & 14 Nov 2025

** Please note this booking is for 2 consecutive Fridays 7th AND 14th November, for 5 hours total, even if it only asks you to book the first of those dates. **

Spoil yourself with a morning of creativity in my Beginners' Lino printing Class.

Based in Colden Common near Winchester, I run the courses over 2 consecutive Friday mornings 930-12.

I keep my classes small, with a maximum of 4 adults, and plenty of cuppas and cake to keep us going.

The November classes will have a Christmas/Winter theme. By the end of the 2 classes, you will have created: A beautiful pattern sampler print, and a set of 6 Winter/Christmas themed cards to share with friends and family.

Linoprint Club 2.5hrs on a Friday morning

Linoprint Club 24th October 2025

** Please note this booking is for Friday 24th October 2025, for 2.5 hours total **

What to expect
A relaxed unstructured space for you to work on your own linoprint projects with likeminded people and an experienced tutor on hand.

Print club is ideal if you already have experience of linoprinting, have done my Beginners’ class and want to continue, or maybe want to return not having had a go for a while.

What’s included
You will have full access to my own tools and equipment including a range of cutting tools (Esdee and Pfeil), cranfield caligo safe wash inks, brayers, barens, palette knives, ink plates and two Xcut Xpress craft printing presses (print up to A4).

Unlike my classes, linoprint club is independent. I am on hand to help guide you in techniques, materials and best practise, but please remember this is not a taught workshop. Please book on one of my other classes if you are new to linoprinting or need a more structured lesson.

What you need to bring/ purchase
You will need to bring your own lino/softcut and paper. I would suggest buying from Handprinted.co.uk. The most consistently effective paper to use is smooth (no tooth) and light in weight (150gsm or lower).

Alternatively you can purchase lino/softcut at RRP: £1.50 for A6 size and £2.50 for A5 size. Please note that I often tone my softcut with a light acrylic wash to make it easier for you to ‘see’ your developing print.

I have basic copy paper on hand, or again, you may purchase printing paper from me on the day: 20p/sheet A5, and 30p/sheet A4.

I only have space for a small number of prints on my drying rack so please bring a method for transporting your prints home after the session if you’re planning a big print run (I suggest a covered tray/similar).

You will need to wear old clothing or bring an old shirt/ apron to protect your clothing.

Please be aware that as a small independent printmaker running small sessions, Linoprint Club can only go ahead if I have enough bookings to cover my costs. If we have fewer than 3 people booked I will contact you 5 working days ahead to cancel and refund your booking. For the same reason please note that if you need to cancel your booking I can not offer refunds but am happy for you to pass your place to friends or family so long as they have prior experience of linoprinting.

Multicolour 'Jigsaw' Lino Print Class (Intermediate) 5 hrs over 2 consecutive Friday mornings

Multicolour 'Jigsaw' Lino Printing Class (Intermediate) 10th & 17th October 2025

Please note this is an intermediate level course for those who have done my Beginner’s Linoprinting Course or equivalent and are confident in printing single colour linoprints independently. Please book on my Beginners’ Lino Printing course first if you are new to linoprinting.

Spoil yourself with a morning of creativity in my intermediate Lino printing Class for multicolour printing.

Expect a fun, relaxed and engaging course. Jigsaw printing is the first and easiest technique for multicolour linoprinting. At the end of this course you will have created your own ‘registration’ and at least one beautiful multicolour A5 linoprint ready for framing and display. You will also have the knowledge you need to continue multicolour lino printing as a hobby.
